Our Story…

The idea of Ishvaku originated at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. It was during one of our projects on the future of retail where we concluded that the brick and mortar world was gradually losing appeal, and found the online business too disorganized to add any real value to the business of fashion.

Thus, emerged the idea of bringing in the best of the brains from the old-world, and putting them in the driver’s seat of e-commerce.

We got back to Asia and teamed up directly with makers of jewelry to produce straight for the consumers in the US. The deal was smaller quantities but lucrative pay while creating a unique eco-system of ‘Cottage 2 Consumer’.

The result was happy smiles in cottages and unique and peppy new concepts for consumers at highly competitive prices.
